CGT has access to a wide range of new technologies for gene identification and functional analysis, including protein biochemistry and proteomics, including MALDI-Tof, tandem and SELDI chip mass spectrometry, surface plasmon resonance and 2-D DIGE; genetics, robotic cDNA microarray and automated DNA sequencing; and plant tissue and cell culture and transformation.

The Laboratories

Creative Gene Technology Ltd. laboratories are housed within Durham University’s Integrative Cell Biology Laboratory, an internationally recognized centre for post-genomics research.
